DIRECTIONS
Corley Village Hall is in Church Lane off the B4098, north of Coventry. Post code is CV7 8AZ. What 3 words are armed.nurse.search. There are road works at J6 on the M42. We suggest you don’t use Satnavs but consult Waze or Google maps as they will be the most up to date.
Please do not arrive before 2pm as the hall is in use until then.

What’s on this Weekend
Friday
The hall opens at 2pm where you will be met by our stewards for the weekend, Gill and John and a cup of tea – and a biscuit or two. Later we would like you to help decorate the hall for our Hallowe’en Festivities. Please bring decorations if you have some to help create our spooky atmosphere. Try your hand at pumpkin skittles before tea. Please sign up to the “help” sheets for coffee/ tea rota.
The hall committee have a set of stalls where you can purchase the most amazing items. Money raised is for the upkeep of the hall so maybe bring along your pennies - or silver for the Honesty box!
At 6.30 we invite you to bring your supper into the hall for a communal get together. The kitchen is available if you need to heat your “dish of the day”. There will be a quiz with fantastic prizes! After supper there will be our usual sing/play/dance around until 10.30pm
Saturday
Coffee is at 10.30 though the hall will be open before then. Collection of fees, cash only please will be followed by a craft session. We will have poppy making and watercolour pencils again though please bring a craft idea to share if you have one. If you would like to crochet or knit a poppy, please bring along a 4mm hook, or 4mm needles (although Gill may have some spares available). Wool will be available - red for traditional poppies, white for peace poppies, or purple for those animals who were lost. There will be a song/music session too.
During the afternoon you will have a chance to witness and possibly take part in apple bobbing, various games devised cunningly by John and a feely bag quiz. Then pop back to your abode to don your fancy dress spooky costume (optional) and bring your shared supper item in to the hall for 6.30pm. As yesterday there will be a quiz, which you know by now will have fantastic prizes! After supper there will be our usual sing/play/dance around until 10.30pm. There will be an evening raffle. (If you are donating a prize, please be aware that by law it must be worth more than the cost of a raffle ticket which at the moment is £1)
Sunday
Coffee is at 10.30 though the hall will be open before then. A bit of help tidying the hall would be appreciated. We need to be on our way by 1pm. We hope you will all have enjoyed yourselves and we look forward to the Christmas themed weekend of 20th - 22nd November with Stewards Ann and Tim.
